Ad Tech Ecosystem: Google AdX
What is Google AdX?
Google AdX is a programmatic advertising platform available to Google Ad Manager users. The platform provides access to real-time bidding through its ad exchange network.
All About Google AdX
Qualifications
To work with Google AdX, you must be currently using Google Ad Manager. Google doesn’t explicitly list qualification requirements for the platform, but reports note that publishers must have no prior content violations.
To access Google AdX, connect with your Google account manager. If you have over 5 million page views and 10 million ad impressions per month, a representative from Google will likely reach out to you to suggest Google AdX.
Alternatively, you can access Google AdX by working with a trusted ad monetization and Google Certified Publishing Partner (GCPP) such as Playwire.
Benefits for Publishers
Experienced publishers using AdX gain access to amplified revenue without having to sell more ad space. The increase in high-quality demand means you may be able to sell more of your existing inventory or increase the cost of the inventory that might be underperforming.
Aside from demand increase, you will also unlock more streamlined reporting and payment, since transactions are managed through a single exchange network.
Google AdX Reviews
